Introduction
In the realm of Vedic astrology, the utilization of dasha systems stands as a cornerstone for deciphering the intricate tapestry of one’s life journey. Guided by the profound wisdom of my Guru, the esteemed SH KN Rao, I’ve been immersed in the invaluable teachings that emphasize the indispensable practice of employing multiple dasha systems in predictive analysis. According to Rao, each dasha holds within it a unique perspective, a hidden facet of life’s unfolding narrative, awaiting comprehension through a blend of experience and profound technical acumen in this ancient vidya, or knowledge. In this article, we embark on a journey to unravel the depths of predictive astrology, exploring the beauty and efficacy of integrating diverse dasha systems to illuminate the pathways of fate with clarity and precision.
Marriage Prediction
So, this native was struggling to get married and had consulted a few famous astrologers. They had said that marriage couldn’t happen before 2023 or during the Moon-Ketu period. The native came to consult me in 2022, and I predicted marriage in November 2023. The prediction came true, and the native got married.
Feedback-
During the Vimshottari dasha, the native was in the Moon-Mercury period, which ended in initial July 2023, followed by the Ketu sub-period in which marriage was predicted. Let’s analyze this dasha first.
Moon is Vargottama in Leo rashi, and it is in the Nakshatra of Poorva-Phalguni, which is ruled by Venus in the 2nd house. Venus is the karaka of marriage. Moon is conjoined with Jupiter in trine to the 7th house of marriage. In the Navamsha chart, Moon becomes the 7th lord in the 8th house, indicating challenges such as a breakup during the same Moon dasha earlier, reflecting the effects of the 8th house.
During the complete Mercury sub-period, there was a struggle in getting married. Mercury, being the 6th lord of Navamsha, is positioned in the 12th house, which is not very supportive for marriage. Ketu is in the 11th house of Navamsha, along with the 8th lord Sun and the lord of Ketu, which is Mars, positioned in the 3rd house, forming a raj yoga with Venus. Ketu in the 11th house indicated the fulfillment of the desire to get married.
I always use Chara dasha- also made a video on its application- you should check-https://youtu.be/oeLYSE7zjrE?feature=shared
In this dasha, Dhanu-Makar was operating. Dhanu represents the 7th house rashi and the Upapada lagna, which is in Virgo, is aspecting this dasha. Anatardasa holds more significance; it is of Makar rashi, which is the lagna of the Navamsha chart. DK (Mars) aspects Makar rashi and the 7th house from it. It’s important to note that Makar rashi is also the exaltation sign of Mars, which is the DK (Darakaraka) planet. A planet also gives results of its special signs, such as exaltation, especially when they aspect it.
I use Kaal Chakra Dasha when the time of birth is pretty accurate, as it has also helped me in confirming events such as marriage. The native was in the Cancer dasha, where Cancer represents the 2nd house of family with the lagnesh (ascendant lord) in it, along with Venus, and the lord of Cancer- Moon is with Jupiter, the 7th lord. In the Navamsha chart, the 7th house is Cancer, with the lagnesh Saturn placed in it.
During the Antardasha of Sagittarius, it is aspected by Jupiter and represents the 7th house sign. In the Navamsha, Dhanu (Sagittarius) becomes the 12th sign, with Mercury placed in it. In Kaal Chakra Dasha, when from the dasha lagna, any house lord (in this case, Mercury as the 7th lord from Dhanu) is in Dhanu, it indicates a connection leading to marriage. The lord of Dhanu is in the 10th house, in the karma (career) house of the Navamsha chart, aspecting the 2nd house, indicating gains in the family.
The sub-sub-period was again of Cancer, where Cancer represents the 7th sign once more. It’s always advisable to check the 3rd level of dasha in the varga (divisional) chart for better results. Marriage was finalized during the Cancer-Sagittarius-Cancer sub-sub period, which began in July 2023, and the marriage was fixed in July 2023.
Conclusion
As we draw the curtains on our exploration of the multifaceted realm of dasha systems, I’m reminded of the invaluable teachings imparted by my mentor, Sh VP Goel. While our focus has centered primarily on the integration of diverse dasha methodologies, it’s crucial to acknowledge the significance of supplementary techniques such as Yogini Dasha, as advocated by Goel ji. In my personal practice, the Bhadrika-Ulka dasha (Mercury-Saturn) initiated in August 2023 has unveiled intriguing insights, particularly notable through the lens of the Navamsha chart where Saturn finds its abode in the 7th house.
Following Goel ji’s guidance, the application of Progressive Lagna further elucidates the nuances of this dasha period. With Scorpio as the Progressed Lagna and the activating Nakshatra being Jyestha, the intricate interplay between the 7th lord Venus, Saturn, and Mercury – the dasha lord – comes into sharper focus. This convergence of methodologies underscores the depth and richness of predictive astrology, offering a panoramic view of life’s unfolding journey, intricately woven with celestial threads. As we continue to delve deeper into the labyrinth of astrological insights, may our dedication to honing both experience and technical proficiency in this profound vidya lead us ever closer to the elucidation of destiny’s mysteries.
