Astrological causes of late marriages | Vedic Astrology

Delay in marriage is common these days, especially in urban areas. It is not a very bad thing, you can call it a mild punishment. But marrying early and having problems in marriage is really strong punishment. 

Late marriage can be caused because of only 3 major reasons:

• Having a desire of late marriage. 
• Tried getting but having failures. 
• Not having suitable circumstances for it, i.e. problems in family, career etc. 

In astrology, delay in marriage can be because of above mentioned reasons, but the planet and most of the major combinations for delay are the same. I am only giving major combinations for delay and avoiding above reasons. 

Before moving ahead, please note that I use & also recommend, basic chart (D-1), navamsha (D-9), upapada(A-12), Karakamsha for a comprehensive analysis and 99.99% confirmation. 

Now, 7th house represents marriage and married life. The 7th lord represents management of married life. Venus is the significator of marriage for males and Jupiter for females. Darakaraka is another jaimini significator similar to 7th lord.

Note: I always use jaimini principles simultaneously with parashari because they are not different and very important for fine analysis. Also, while using Jaimini astrology charts like Upapada and Karakamsa use jaimini rasi aspects. 

Saturn is the planet for delays, it does the same to 7th house/lord. If the 7th house/lord is affected by Saturn then marriage is delayed. Now, Rahu is akin to Saturn. So, Rahu in 7th also delays. Sun also delays marriage if found in any slight influence of Saturn. Where the delay caused by Saturn > Rahu > Sun. 

In the Jaimini chart, Saturn should be in association with fixed significators and movable significators, Venus/Jupiter and Darakaraka respectively. Saturn being Darakarka itself or 7th lord can also delay marriage. 

Apart from all this, check dasha periods, that whether there is marriage giving capable periods are present or not. If not then the person may not be interested in marriage, though interest etc. is seen from the ascendant of D-9 and upapada.
